Big Apple Bust! Feds smacked down hard on a notorious Venezuelan gang plaguing New York City, announcing major charges against 27 members and affiliates of Tren de Aragua yesterday. This crew is bad news, linked to everything from sex trafficking and drugs to robbery and gun running.
NYC Mayor Eric Adams and President Trump’s tough-as-nails border czar, Thomas Homan, dropped the hammer, detailing the first-ever federal racketeering case brought against this vicious gang. While 21 thugs are cuffed, six are still on the run – but likely not for long.
These aren’t your average street criminals. Tren de Aragua, known back in Venezuela for kidnapping and murder, has spread like a disease across the U.S. In NYC, they’ve been tied to brazen retail theft rings and smuggling women into the country, forcing them into prostitution under threat of violence.
BREAKING: 27 TdA gang members have been arrested in a sting operation in NYC.

Homan didn’t mince words, sending a clear message from the Trump administration: “Every member of TDA should be on the run because the Trump administration is committed to removing every single member of TDA and MS-13 from this country.” That’s the kind of talk we need!
President Trump has even designated the gang an “invading threat” using the Alien Enemies Act, a move aimed at kicking these predators out fast. This follows a coordinated sting involving ICE, NYPD, and the Queens DA that scooped up not just gang members but also 34 firearms, some stolen from states like Texas and Pennsylvania.
Even Mayor Adams, usually singing a different tune, stood with Homan, ditching the sanctuary city talk for a moment. Adams declared public safety comes first and NYC won’t shelter violent criminals. About time!
This crackdown shows the feds are finally getting serious about the foreign gangs exploiting weak borders and setting up shop in our cities. It’s a major win for law and order, and a warning to other crews thinking they can run wild on America’s streets.
