Terms of Use for The Faith & Works Journal

By using The Faith & Works Journal’s website (the “Site”) and its services, you agree to adhere to the following Terms of Use. In no event will The Faith & Works Journal, or any persons or entities involved in creating, producing, or distributing the Site, be liable for damages, including any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Site. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. All disputes arising out of or related to your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of these courts. Prior to bringing any dispute, you must engage in good faith efforts to resolve any dispute directly through consultation and negotiation, which shall be a precondition to either party initiating a lawsuit or arbitration.

Miscellaneous Provisions

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and The Faith & Works Journal regarding the use of the Site and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral. The laws of the State of New York will govern any legal matters not subject to arbitration as described in these Terms of Use without regard to its conflict of laws principles. No waiver of any term or condition shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term. If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.
